About the Role
-Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
-Help supervise children during play sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and cafe space.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily operations of the cafe, ensuring an excellent guest experience.
-Help manage social media accounts, developing and implementing engaging content.
-Organize and manage special events, classes, and activities.-
-Work closely with partners to coordinate collaborations and events.
-Engage with children and families in the play space, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
-Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
-Assist in maintaining inventory, managing staff schedules, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.-
Collaborate with the owner on ideas to improve cafe offerings and services.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Have a love for children
Background in early childhood education or teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Previous experience in cafe or food service management is a huge plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to engage and interact with young children and their families.
Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
Self-starter with a passion for building a family-friendly community.
Availability to work 15 - 25 hours per week, with flexibility for events and special occasions.
Must be able to complete and pass a background check to work with children
