About the Role
Support daily café operations while ensuring a warm, positive experience for all guests. This role assists with opening and closing procedures, maintains cleanliness and safety standards across the café, play space, and party rooms, and monitors and restocks café supplies, food ingredients, paper goods, and retail items, with ordering handled by the owner. The Operations Lead prepares and organizes materials for events, workshops, and programming, supports private parties, classes, and special events from setup through breakdown, and engages with children and families in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner. This position also communicates supply needs, facility issues, and improvement ideas to the owner and serves as a shift lead when on duty, helping guide associates and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
Experience working with children, families, or in early childhood settings preferred
Café, hospitality, childcare, or customer service experience strongly encouraged
Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable engaging with young children and caregivers
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and follow established systems
Passion for family-friendly, community-centered spaces
