Meet the Owners: Stacy & Michael Baker

Stacy and Michael Baker are the husband-and-wife team behind Grow Cafe, bringing their passion for community, family, and play to life. As longtime residents of the Highland Creek area, they understand the importance of creating a space where families can connect, learn, and grow together.
​
Stacy, a Charlotte native, has dedicated over a decade to working with youth nonprofits and advocacy groups, championing causes that uplift children and families. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Clemson University and spent years envisioning Grow Cafe before bringing it to reality.
​
Michael, originally from Chesapeake, VA, has spent the last 10 years in the telecom industry and currently serves as a Technical Operations Manager at GFiber. With his expertise in operations and technology, he plays a vital role in supporting Grow Cafe’s mission.

Together, Stacy and Michael are the proud parents of three amazing children—Jeremy, Maya, and Nina—who continue to inspire their vision for a welcoming, family-friendly space.
